Explore the mystical, beautiful Florida Everglades National Park with professional photographer John Dykstra. Experience an unforgettable photo safari photographing birds, mammals, and landscapes that are only found here. This tour will visit several photography hot spots such as Anhinga Trail, Shark Valley, Eco Pond, and more in South Florida. There may even be a few surprises thrown in. We will take full advantage of the best light, being in locations at the right time. This is a serendipity location, never knowing what we might run into. Our base of operations will be Homestead, just south of Miami.
Included: 5 days and 4 nights lodging and in the field photo instruction. Register soon, space is limited.

PHOTO TOUR: "Exploring Southern Arizona"
March 26-30, 2012
This tour will focus on desert landscapes and wildlife. We will visit Madera Canyon, a renown exotic bird photography location. We also have reservations at an oasis in the desert. This location boasts a pond in the middle of the desert where many of the desert birds and wildlife can be photographed from blinds located around the pond. We will also visit other great photography locations such as The Desert Museum, Gates Pass, Reid Park, Mount Lemon, and more.

PHOTO TOUR: "Exploring Spring in West Michigan"
April 30 - May 4, 2012
Enjoy the magnificant beauty that West Michigan has to offer anyone who wants to explore its many unique photo locations. We will photograph fantastic displays of spring flowers, such as Trillium, Virginia Bluebells, Wild Geranium, Dutchman's Britches, and Mayapple, to name a few. This tour will also visit some of the Great Lakes most picturesque lighthouses at sunset and possibly covered bridges, yes all in beautiful West Michigan. To end our photo exploration we will have our own private "Birds of Prey" photo shoot at the Outdoor Discovery Center of Holland. Also, thrown in if time allows, instructional sessions on light, exposure, composition, and a "How I Did It" presentation that explains where, when, and how I captured each image.
Included: Birds of Prey photo shoot, Veldeer Tulip Farm, all fees and admissions, Photo instruction.

PHOTO TOUR: "Exploring Isle Royale, MI"
June 18-22, 2012
This jewel of an island in Lake Superior is waiting our arrival! Michigan's only National Park offers any hardy visitor unbelievably beautiful seascapes, lichen-covered rocks, a kaleidoscope of wildflowers, some only found here and much more. Our photo tour will be based out of the lodge in Rock Harbor and extensive use of water taxis and ferries to get us to the great photography locations. There is some hiking required, but will be kept to a minimum on this tour. We begin at 8:00AM, Monday, June 18 at the Isle Royale fery dock in Copper Harbor and will end 4 days later at the same location. This is a "must" photography location for any true nature photographer! Isle Royale is one of only a very few locations left in North America where man is the intruder and nature still rules.
Included: Ferry to and from the Isle Royale, double occupancy lodging, all water taxi and ferry fees, and Photography instruction.
